We say our curly hair experience is a 50/50 relationship with our guests. We need our guests to follow hair prep guidelines and read our policies. Upon scheduling your appointment online you do agree to these terms. This provides a mutual agreement and understanding. Thank you and we cannot wait to see you gorgeous!
How far in-between cuts should I wait before booking my returning service?
Hair Prep Guidelines
Please arrive to your appointment with your hair fully dry, detangled, and styled as naturally as possible using your typical products and styling routine within 24–48 hours prior to your appointment.
For the most accurate curl assessment and best overall results, curls should be worn down and free from tension styling upon arrival.
Please avoid arriving with:
• ponytails
• buns
• braid-outs or twist-outs
• stretched styles
• clips or tight accessories
• excessive brushing or heat styling
These styling methods can temporarily alter the natural curl pattern and impact the quality and accuracy of the service.
If additional preparation or extensive detangling is required upon arrival, additional time and fees may apply depending on the condition, density, or preparation needs of the hair.
Cancellation
Cancellation Policy
A 25% nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve all appointments moving forward. This deposit secures your reserved appointment time, customized service preparation, and studio availability.
We kindly request that any rescheduling or cancellation of your appointment be made no less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
Cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows made within 48 hours of the appointment will result in the loss of the 25% deposit. Deposits are not transferable to future appointments when late cancellations occur.
If a cancellation is made outside of the 48-hour policy window and qualifies for a deposit return, approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within approximately 3–7 business days depending on your financial institution.
Please understand that appointment times are reserved specifically for each guest and many extended services cannot be filled on short notice. These policies help protect scheduling availability, preparation time, and the overall guest experience.
Arriving Late
A 10-minute grace period is extended to guests arriving late to their appointment.
If you are running behind, please text the salon directly as soon as possible so we can assess timing accommodations.
Appointments arriving beyond the 10-minute grace period may need to be modified, shortened, or rescheduled depending on the remaining availability in the schedule.
If a late arrival results in a rescheduled appointment within the 48-hour cancellation window, the 25% deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit may be required to reserve a future appointment.
These policies are in place to ensure the seamless flow of scheduled appointments and to respect the reserved time of all guests.

If the haircut was technically executed and your standards were met, however, you would like to change length, shape, or style please email us directly and one of our management members will be in touch with what service will be provided for you.

If you are unhappy with your service and feel it needs an adjustment, we require you to get in touch with us via email no more than 72 hours post-service. It is crucial to reach back out as we want to fix anything that was not part of the mutual vision to make it technically sound and satisfactory to our client's needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
It's my first time with a curl specialist, do I have to arrive with my hair down if I don't know how to style it curly?
As a new guest we completely understand how it may not be a choice for you to style your natural curls. Come in as best as you can and we've got you covered for the rest.
What are the steps for preparing your hair, before making an appointment?
Those steps are wash, condition and style your hair to the best of your ability, leaving your hair to air dry or diffuse no more than two days prior to your appointment. Hair down arriving to your appointment. If this is not easy please do the very best you can for your first visit with us.
I purchased products from your affiliate links, can I return them to your salon in exchange for something else?

No, we do not offer any chemical services including perms or curl softeners.
